The impressive brick building at the entrance to Weissach, opposite the railway station, was built in 1906. Business in the old knitting factory flourished until the 1950s and the production halls were extended several times. After the factory was abandoned, the municipality acquired the building in a very poor condition. Thanks to its extensive renovation, a modern, multifunctional cultural centre was created in 2008.

It is ideally suited for smaller trade fairs, congresses, seminars, workshops or private festivities.

A large hall, separable into 3 small halls, and a fully equipped kitchen are available for rent. A cloakroom and toilets are located in the basement. All floors are accessible barrier-free via a lift. A large public car park directly at the location offers space for approx. 100 vehicles.

A public address system and mobile screen with beamer can be booked.

Possible occupancy in the large hall (halls 1-3):

• Standing room: maximum 600 standing room

• Table rows of seating (vertical): 176 seats

• Rows of tables (horizontal): 168 seats

Possible occupancy in one third of the hall (1, 2 or 3):

• Table-row seating: 44, 60 or 60 seats

• U-shaped seating: 28 seats per hall
