After more than two years of extensive renovation work, the historic Menterschwaige estate has been restored to its former glory.
The Menterschwaige beer garden can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. The pub-style restaurant has 180 seats indoors and 70 on the sun terrace. The stylishly renovated and historic King Ludwig Hall is the perfect venue for celebrations for up to 110 people – whether it’s a christening, a summer party or a wedding. We’ll bring your ideas to life. For smaller groups (up to 45 people), the rustic-style Jagdstüberl offers the perfect setting. Up to 50 people can give free rein to their creativity in the conference room . Since 1 May 2025, the new boutique hotel at the rear of the building has been welcoming guests. It offers 28 high-quality rooms, including suites and superior categories. The reopening of the Augustiner Gutshof Menterschwaige brings things full circle. Where artists, kings and summer visitors once stayed, a place is now emerging that reflects the soul of Munich – with indulgence, conviviality and genuine hospitality.

We recommend travelling by public transport (Menterschwaige tram stop – 5-minute walk) or by bike.
Free parking is available for our hotel guests directly in front of the hotel; further parking spaces are located outside the premises. There are a few parking spaces on the access road to Menterschwaige, and otherwise around the neighbourhood.
