The Badehaus is a special place right in the heart of the RAW site in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Originally built as a bathhouse for railway workers, it has developed into a vibrant hub for art, culture and socialising since it opened in 2011.
Since then, countless artists and bands from all over the world have performed on our stage. From Japanese psychedelic blues and Kazakh hip-hop to Afro-house, heavy metal and jazz: musical diversity defines our programme. At the same time, the Badehaus is more than just a concert venue. It is a flexible space that accommodates a wide variety of events. Whether it’s a corporate event, a private party, a workshop, a festival showcase, a reading or a creative production – the spaces can be used in a variety of ways.
The venue features a large main floor with a stage, the intimate sauna floor and a terrace with a bar, which moves the action outdoors in summer. Rustic wooden floors, artistically designed walls and street art elements create an ambience that lies somewhere between an underground vibe and a living-room atmosphere.
A highly skilled technical team ensures sound and lighting of the highest standard. This is complemented by a friendly bar team, who serve craft beers, cocktails and classic drinks to keep guests well fed and watered. Thanks to its central location within the RAW complex, the Badehaus is easily accessible. The Warschauer Straße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station is just a few minutes’ walk away.
