Biohotel Wildland

The WildLand Natural Resort is the perfect venue for your event if you love the charm of old Lower Saxon half-timbered houses. It is situated in the southern Lüneburg Heath, in Hornbostel near Wietze, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Eight distinctive half-timbered houses stand amongst tall oak trees on a large, flower-filled natural plot, giving the impression of a museum village.

At the centre of the grounds stands a large, old farmhouse. Inside is the former stable area, now the restaurant with cosy nooks and a large fireplace, suitable for events for up to 85 people. Adjacent to this is the conservatory, which overlooks the grounds. This can accommodate up to 40 people.

The other buildings house our unique rooms, eighteen of which are in historic buildings constructed using clay-based building methods in accordance with ecological building standards. A further 26 rooms will be added in 2025. The hotel rooms are equipped with all the amenities of modern hotel accommodation and, like the rest of the buildings, are built in the half-timbered style.

The hotel’s other buildings house three conference venues. These can accommodate between 35 and 15 people. These, too, are historic half-timbered buildings equipped with modern conference technology, a fully automatic coffee machine and a drinks fridge.

In our restaurant, Liesbeth, creative chefs prepare a seasonally inspired menu. Organic food has been a cornerstone of our philosophy since 1997. We have received an annual award from Slow Food e.V. for this since 2016, and we have been a Bioland partner since 2021. We place particular emphasis on the freshness and regional origin of our produce and value the friendly relationships we have with our winegrowers, farmers, hunters and bakers.
