Our CHIQUE & SCHIER event bar/venue is situated in a central yet quiet location, just 20 minutes from Hamburg Central Station. Excellent public transport links:
It’s just a 10-minute walk from Wandsbek-Gartenstadt underground station (direct connection to Hamburg Central Station via the U1 and U3 lines); alternatively, take bus number 8 for just one stop to Haldesdorfer Straße. There is also good access by car, and there are plenty of free parking spaces in the surrounding area.

Ideal for business events such as workshops, training sessions, seminars, barcamps, meetings, after-work events, client and staff events, and for celebrations of all kinds: anniversaries, birthdays, summer parties, Christmas parties, weddings...
Our venue has its own external entrance, from which you can also access the large, landscaped roof terrace.
The foyer offers ample space for, amongst other things, a separate cloakroom and reception areas. The event room features high ceilings, natural light, can be completely darkened, and is fitted with real wood parquet flooring and a fireplace.
The large, extravagant bar counter is the perfect spot for lively conversations. In addition, there is plenty of open space with lounge areas and flexible seating options to suit individual requirements.
The stylish toilet facilities comprise two ladies’ toilets and two gents’ toilets with three urinals, each with its own separate antechamber.
Sustainability
What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?
We work with regional caterers who don’t have to travel long distances. This includes suppliers who operate entirely on an organic basis. Naturally, we sort our waste on site – glass, paper/cardboard, the yellow bag, general waste and organic waste. Our drinks supplier is based right in the neighbourhood, so there are no long journeys involved, and we use reusable bottles wherever possible.

Absolutely! We’re experts when it comes to, for example, transitioning from daytime to after-work events. Within minutes, we can create a relaxed and cosy after-work atmosphere, both visually and acoustically. Candlelight, a variety of coloured lighting effects and the perfect background music. And for celebrations of all kinds, there’s plenty of space on our dance floor, complete with the right sound system. We’re also happy to provide the perfect music for dancing throughout the evening at no extra cost.
