With tasty food - home-cooked or prepared by a professional -, a good glass of wine or an island beer, you can do this wonderfully in our brand new Culinarium. A kitchen house built according to the plans of an old village smithy from the 19th century, sustainably constructed from secondary materials.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen offers everything that makes the heart of enthusiastic cooks - whether amateur or professional - beat faster. Up to 12 people can sit at the dining table from the days of the Reichsbahn and enjoy lovingly prepared dishes and lively conversation, spending cosy hours with a view of the Rügen Bodden and the Celtic hill from pre-Christian times.

On request, freelance chefs or chefs from well-known Rügen restaurants as well as live musical entertainment can be organised.

In summer, the sun deck and the surrounding terrace offer the opportunity to enjoy an aperitif in the light of the sunset from a beach chair or to prepare a tasty BBQ on the Schmiede-Esse and later round off the evening by the fire bowl.

If the weather doesn't play ball, the wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth and the clouds or the drifting veil of rain against the light from the gallery give an immediate impression of the surrounding nature through the large windows.
