Die Döns - Historisches Wartehäuschen im Museumshafen Oevelgönne

The Döns, the historic waiting shelter on the Neumühlen pontoon, is rented out by the Museumshafen Oevelgönne association for smaller events. The Döns has a very special harbour flair, on one side the Elbe with passing container giants and cruise ships. On the other side is the idyllic museum harbour with historic sailing ships. The Döns can be used in many ways, and a firewood-fired stove provides cosy warmth in winter. The Döns is also equipped with a kitchenette including two refrigerators. With seating for a maximum of 40 people or standing room for 50, it is ideal for wedding celebrations, birthdays and similar festivities.

A music system with speakers permanently mounted under the ceiling is available.

The toilets are located in the immediate vicinity on the museum harbour restaurant ship "BERGEDORF". This is not tied to the restaurant's opening hours, but is accessible 24/7.

You can bring your own food and drinks. Alternatively, the Museumshafen-Restaurant Bergedorf, for example, can take care of the catering.

The DÖNS must be handed over tidy and cleaned on Saturdays and Sundays by 8:00 a.m. and on weekdays by 9:00 a.m., just as you found it.
