ELSE

In the summer of 2013, ELSE opened its doors as a new open-air venue, a modern craft beer garden and a hub for creative development. The following year, the venue was awarded the 2014 Club Award for ‘Best Outdoor Venue’.
In May 2023, just in time for the start of the season, ELSE will be shining in new splendour.
The outdoor area has been redesigned over the winter months. In addition to the existing bars, there is now a new ‘Tankbierbar’, housed in one of the numerous shipping containers that characterise ELSE.

The ELSE’s indoor floor is brand new. It features glass walls facing the Spree and offers a fantastic view of the water. The floor can be used both during the day and at night. It can be operated with natural daylight or, when darkened, illuminated with club lighting.

Situated right on the banks of the River Spree in the centre of Berlin, the venue has won over the press, event organisers and Berlin’s discerning public with its flexible usage options, state-of-the-art technical facilities and lovingly designed spaces.

Covered and sun-drenched dance and seating areas, spaces for catering and barbecues, walk-in shipping containers, and terraces with direct views of the Spree – ELSE offers a fully equipped and extraordinary venue with a unique urban flair.
