The Eventkirche Bochum is an extraordinary event venue in the heart of the Ruhr region. This historic church combines striking architecture and a unique atmosphere with modern event technology, and offers space across approximately 800 m² and two levels for events hosting up to 200 guests.

Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate event, a Christmas party, a birthday or a bespoke event – the impressive church interior can be flexibly arranged and adapted to suit a variety of event concepts. Modern lighting and sound systems, a stage, dance floor, bar, Wi-Fi and air conditioning make it possible to host everything from a stylish reception and dinner to a lively celebration.

For weddings, the Eventkirche provides a special setting for the entire wedding day. Civil wedding ceremonies have also already been held directly at the venue. Our guests have flexibility when it comes to catering: we are happy to recommend experienced catering partners; alternatively, you may bring your own caterer.

Parking is available directly at the venue. Wheelchair access and a disabled toilet are provided. Thanks to its central location in Bochum, the Eventkirche is easily accessible from Essen, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen and the entire Ruhr region.

Our team supports events from the initial viewing and planning right through to the day of the event, working with our guests to develop a bespoke concept.
