Freilichtbühne Waren (Müritz)

The Mühlenberg Public Park is situated close to the historic town centre of Waren (Müritz). It is home to our Waren (Müritz) Open-Air Theatre, which is framed by large trees. This traditional amphitheatre has become a well-known feature of cultural life, recognised far beyond the local area. The Waren (Müritz) Open-Air Theatre has just under 1,200 comfortable folding seats. The stage, auditorium, toilet facilities, catering area and the lighting and sound systems have all been completely refurbished and modernised.

Thanks to support from the European LEADER project, the accessible open-air theatre has been fitted with completely new seating and disabled-friendly toilet facilities.

The open-air theatre is suitable for events (concerts, theatre performances, dance theatre performances, film screenings, ecumenical services, folk festivals, etc.) and has also proved its worth in the past as a film set for TV productions.
