The Hallesche Haus is a unique historic building and event venue on the Landwehr Canal in Kreuzberg. As well as high ceilings, vaulted arches and a private garden, it has a fascinating history: in its more sedate years, it housed the Alte Postamt SW 61; in its wilder days, it was a nightclub; and now it is a beautiful 270-square-metre space with restored skylights, original brickwork and a stylish ambience.
