This conference and business hotel is situated just a few minutes from the landscape park on the site of the former Nordstern colliery in Gelsenkirchen. Following the closure of the Nordstern colliery in 1993, the site was completely redeveloped and transformed into a beautiful park.

Attractions include the Nordstern colliery headframes with the ‘Herkules’, and the amphitheatre with its floating stage on the Rhine-Herne Canal. Both pedestrians and cyclists will find traces of mining history along their routes.
