The historic MS Hoppetosse never leaves its current home port after an eventful life. Moored in the Osthafen, the typical Berlin venue is now a venue for parties, summer festivals, weddings, Christmas celebrations or larger private events. With its three decks, the ship offers space for up to 450 people. But also smaller parties of 100 persons or more can be seated comfortably on the middle deck. The MS Hoppetosse offers plenty of scope for individual furnishing and design - banquet seating, bar tables and deck chairs on the upper deck or a large dance floor? No problem at all. Your event will then be rounded off by one of the most spectacular views over Berlin. With a good drop you can enjoy the unique view of the Osthafen, the Badeschiff and the Oberbaumbrücke up to the Fernsehturm.
To make your event a success, our team will be happy to advise you on decoration and catering.
History of the MS Hoppetosse: The curriculum vitae of the Hoppetosse is perhaps more impressive than the life of many a person. It was built on the Baltic Sea in 1928 and has since been moored in Berlin's Osthafen as the largest ship and is used, among other things, as a winter location by the Club der Visionäre. Originally it sailed the Baltic Sea as an excursion steamer until it was converted into a hospital ship during the war. At the end of the war it was hit in Travemünde, sunk and lay for some time on the bottom of the Baltic Sea. After the end of the war, the ship was salvaged and used as a passenger ship. The MS Hoppestosse finally found its way to Berlin in the nineties, sawn into two halves on a tow. It was then joined together in the Osthafen and is now moored next to the bathing ship of the Arena Berlin.
