Historic charm meets modernity: our hotel and restaurant in the midst of change
Our hotel, with its in-house restaurant, offers a wide range of options for events of all sizes. Whether weddings, non-religious wedding ceremonies, corporate events, funerals, conferences, Christmas parties, birthdays and much more. For smaller events, our elegant conservatory is available, which can accommodate up to 50 guests. For larger occasions, our spacious hall, which can accommodate up to 130 people, is ideal, complemented by the charming courtyard, which can also be used. Right in front of the hotel, in the historic old town, you’ll also find a cosy outdoor area with seating for up to 60 guests – ideal for relaxed gatherings in the open air.
For your event, you can either use our on-site car park (booking required) or park conveniently in the nearby Parkhaus Süd, just a few minutes’ walk away.
We are planning a complete refurbishment of our reception area in 2024. This will be relocated to the front of the hotel building and complemented by an adjoining bar and lounge area for our guests. The former reception area will be converted into the ‘Ratstuben’ and will in future offer a cosy space for regulars’ get-togethers, family gatherings or small private celebrations. During the refurbishment, we are prioritising sustainability to continue our environmentally friendly philosophy.

What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?
Sustainability is a key part of our hotel and restaurant. When carrying out renovations and refurbishments, we place great importance on reusing existing materials and utilising renewable resources. Our commitment to regional produce, animal welfare and nature conservation is reflected in our kitchen, where we prioritise locally sourced products. We also take care to use our resources efficiently and sparingly to ensure we treat the environment responsibly. In this way, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern, sustainable thinking to create a holistic experience for our guests.

Yes, we offer 40 rooms in various categories to suit every need. For larger groups, our partner hotel is also available, located just an 8-minute walk from the Hotel Goldener Hirsch. There, we offer a further 21 rooms. At both hotels, you can also look forward to a generous breakfast buffet to get your day off to a perfect start.
