Conference hotel and event venue on Lake Constance: The Hotel Maier is an urban country hotel in Friedrichshafen-Fischbach, family-run since 1936, situated 300 metres from the shores of Lake Constance. A dedicated events area is available for conferences, seminars, workshops, corporate events and private celebrations: the Gartensaal and Kabinett with access to the inner courtyard, the Salon der Speiserei im Maier and the terrace.
The Garden Hall in Friedrichshafen measures 72 square metres, can be divided into the Large Garden Hall (42) and the Small Garden Hall (30), and accommodates up to 70 people in theatre-style seating or 45 at a round banquet table. The Kabinett (40 square metres) consists of the Front and Rear Kabinett and is suitable for seminars and workshops for up to 30 people. Both areas have floor-to-ceiling windows providing natural light, blackout blinds, air conditioning, screens with ClickShare, a soundbar and Wi-Fi. A flipchart, Metaplan board and presentation kit are provided; a projector with screen costs 50 euros per day.
The Speiserei im Maier’s salon (109 square metres, natural light) is ideal for celebrations, client evenings and Christmas parties: it can accommodate up to 80 people for a reception and 70 for a banquet. In addition, there is the terrace with 60 seats and the bar with a reception area for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks. Small weddings at lunchtime and milestone birthdays can be celebrated in the garden hall.
Speiserei im Maier is MICHELIN-recommended and specialises in regional and seasonal cuisine. Every dish features a product from the Ark of Taste – a rare or endangered variety or breed. The producers are listed on the menu. Buffets are only available at breakfast and during coffee breaks; lunch and dinner are served fresh at the table.
The hotel comprises 75 rooms and 4 apartments for overnight guests, 35 free parking spaces and the Fischbach railway station, 300 metres away. It is 11 kilometres to the Friedrichshafen Exhibition Centre and 12 kilometres to Friedrichshafen Airport. Conference packages available on request.

The Hotel Maier is an urban country hotel in Friedrichshafen-Fischbach and has been family-run since 1936; it is now in its fourth generation. For us, operating sustainably means, above all, highlighting the origins of our ingredients.
The restaurant at the Maier serves regional and seasonal cuisine: vegetables from the island of Reichenau, game from local hunters, and fish from Lake Constance. Every dish contains a product from the Ark of Taste – that is, a rare or endangered variety or breed. The menu specifies which producer supplies what.
For conferences and events, this means: short supply chains and a kitchen that can name its ingredients. The hotel is situated 300 metres from the shore of Lake Constance; the natural lido and the railway station are within walking distance. GreenSign certification is currently underway.

The Garden Hall (72 square metres) can accommodate up to 70 people in row seating, 36 in parliamentary seating, 26 in a U-shape and 22 in block seating. It can seat 45 people for a banquet with round tables and 70 for a standing reception.
The Cabinet Room (40 square metres) can accommodate up to 30 people in row seating, 16 in block seating and 30 standing. It consists of the Front and Rear Cabinet Rooms, each measuring 20 square metres. The Garden Hall comprises the Large Garden Hall (42 square metres) and the Small Garden Hall (30 square metres).
