We’ll tailor it entirely to your taste. Drawing on all our experience, we’ll ensure that nothing goes wrong with the organisation and execution.

What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?
Under the guiding principle ‘Zugbrücke goes green’, we at the Hotel Zugbrücke Grenzau are pursuing a holistic sustainability strategy that firmly embeds environmental, economic and social responsibility in our day-to-day operations. As a family-run hotel nestled in the natural surroundings of the Brexbach Valley, the careful use of resources is particularly important to us: we use 100 per cent green electricity, rely on energy-efficient technology and fit water-saving taps in all our rooms. By switching to digital buffet menus, we’re already saving around 23,000 sheets of paper a year. When it comes to our cuisine, we prioritise short supply chains and regional partnerships in the Westerwald – complemented by our own on-site craftsmanship through our in-house coffee roastery and the BREXX brewery. Our social commitment is also particularly important to us: when our guests opt out of daily room cleaning during stays of several days, we convert the savings directly into donations, which we use to support regional environmental and social projects such as reforestation in the Westerwald or local children’s facilities.
