IMAGO Art Space at Aufbau Haus – Berlin’s creative hub on Moritzplatz – uniquely combines culture with the creative industries.
The IMAGO Camera, itself a walk-in art installation, is the world’s only analogue large-format camera for life-size self-portraits. Within it, the subject becomes the creator of their own image; the portrait becomes a self-portrait. Exposed without a negative onto special direct-positive paper and developed immediately, the image is one of a kind. My life-size likeness, from head to toe. My IMAGOgram.
The camera’s physical appearance alone is impressive, whilst the opportunity to participate directly in the creative process is fascinating. Flanked by restaurants, clubs and event venues at Moritzplatz, IMAGO Berlin offers a venue and an experience for your special private or corporate celebrations.
