KOYA Club + Karaoke Rooms
Welcome to the Koya Club on the Hamburger Berg. The bar brings the atmosphere of Japanese alleyways to St Pauli. Lanterns, warm lighting and a blend of street vibes and club atmosphere make this a special place.
The first floor is our main bar. An open-plan space with strong drinks and room for around 65 to 70 guests. To the right of the DJ booth, there’s open karaoke projected onto a screen via a projector. Around 30 seats are spread out in the corners.
The second floor is our ‘room-within-a-room’ concept. A large area with four private rooms of varying sizes. All can be used for karaoke or music quizzes. The smaller rooms are also ideal for retreating, having a chat or simply enjoying a quiet get-together amongst yourselves.
Each room has its own style: the Black Room with neon lighting, the Anime Room for immersion and dressing up, the Tokyo Room with big-city flair, and the Sakura Room with a forest and lantern atmosphere.
You don’t have to rent the whole of Koya or the entire venue. You can simply book a single private room for 1 hour, 90 minutes or even longer.
You’ll find all the relevant information about each room on our website. If you’d like to book a room, just get in touch.
Food is provided: we offer pizza and baguettes.
At the bar, you can enjoy soft drinks, beer, wine, aperitifs, shots, long drinks and a wide range of cocktails. Our menu combines classics with Japanese specialities, including Japanese whisky, vodka, gin, plum wine and sake.
There are spacious toilets on both floors, as well as a cloakroom. The venue can accommodate around 100 people in total.
