The Obscura, the Mephisto and the Lichtburg are Ulm's modern equipped film art cinemas, which belong to the Dietrich Theater in Neu-Ulm. They combine modern cinema ambience and traditional film theatre, major productions from European studios, sophisticated film art and selected blockbusters.
The Lichtburg opened back in 1952, was completely renovated in 2011 and is Ulm's traditional cinema. It offers space for 224 visitors. All halls of the arthaus kinos ulm are state of the art. Digital projectors from Sony present you images in brilliant 4K, digital sound systems provide crystal clear sound.
