Logensaal in den Hamburger Kammerspielen
The Hamburger Kammerspiele building also houses another venue: the historic Logensaal - a very historic space: the Hamburger Kammerspiele building is located in the Jewish quarter. Before the war, the Jewish Lodge was housed in the Logensaal. Lectures were held, a library was set up, the intellectuals of the quarter met to exchange views on the issues of the time before the National Socialists prepared the deportations from here from the early 1940s.
