To obtain GreenSign certification, a hotel must first complete the comprehensive set of requirements. This comprises more than 100 criteria, which are broken down into eight key areas. In addition to environmental sustainability, social, cultural and economic aspects are also taken into account.
Worldwide, over 800 organisations in 17 countries hold GreenSign certification.
