Staying overnight where others work.
Built in 1890 as a horse auction hall, it became a church in 1940, then stood empty for years – since May 2019, the Raumquartier has been a place for experiences, freedom and community. Spanning 600 m² in the heart of Brandenburg an der Havel.
When you rent the Raumquartier, it’s all yours. No outside guests, no neighbours next door, no curfew from next door. The eight-metre-high hall with a stage can accommodate up to 100 guests. The open-plan kitchen is connected to the hall and is equipped with crockery for 36 people and a commercial dishwasher. Two gallery areas with curtains can be partitioned off – for working, sleeping or simply relaxing. In the courtyard, a sun awning provides shelter from the sun and rain; next to it are a gas barbecue, a table tennis table and two vintage caravans.
Accommodation is provided in the house: 36 beds in ten rooms, on a gallery with eight fold-out beds, and in the two caravans. There are also eight bathrooms, one with a corner bath.
It’s up to you whether you organise everything yourselves or let us help. You’re free to choose your own caterer, and you can book technical equipment, furniture and a sound system if you need them.
Getting here: 10 minutes from Brandenburg railway station, 23 minutes from Potsdam Central Station, 41 minutes from Berlin Zoo on the RE1. There are around six parking spaces at the house.
