About 100 years ago, directly at the entrance to the Wildpark, on the main road to Klausdorf, a huge sign stretched across the road with the inscription "Wildpark" invited visitors. At that time, the entire "Wildpark" area belonged together. The founder of this excursion place at Mellensee had set up many enclosures with native animals here.

Even today, the descendants of the generations of that time still talk about the wonderful dances that took place in the idyllic park.

Many visitors, even from the capital, came here for the beautiful events alone. The Wildpark was already the address for high society in the past. Only the "better circles" frequented it. Thankfully, the heart of this popular place of excursions has been preserved to this day: the restaurant "Am Wildpark".

Family business

Welcome to our traditional house. As operators with many years of experience in gastronomy, we continue to run the restaurant "Am Wildpark" as a family business. We are looking forward to it!

Perfect location

Our restaurant is beautifully situated, directly on the banks of Lake Mellensee. From here you have a magnificent view while dining. You can even come to us by boat and simply moor at our jetty. If you prefer to come by car, there are parking spaces right next to the restaurant.

In the surrounding area you will find many great excursion destinations, which we have listed for you here. Excursions on the Mellensee are also possible around the corner with a rental boat.

Rooms for celebrations

We also organise large and small celebrations for you. We have the possibility to reserve areas of our restaurant for private parties. We even have a large ballroom for up to 200 people. We would also be happy to organise your celebration. Please contact us!
