A castle for many occasions

The castle is Grüningen’s landmark: standing proudly in the town centre, it occupies a prominent place and gives Grüningen its unmistakable character. From October 2015 to April 2016, the castle was given a fresh new look. Freshly renovated, the stylish, historic rooms now shine with renewed splendour. Each room can rightly be described as a gem, as its individual style and historic character were preserved with great care during the renovation.

The little town of Grüningen is a popular destination for day trips, especially during the summer months. The castle café is open every Sunday and treats walkers and cyclists to a selection of coffees, homemade cakes and cool drinks whilst they take a break. If you have time to spare, why not plan a visit to the castle museum or the nearby tin figure or beekeeping museum? Grüningen is always well worth a visit!
