Excellent transport links – A smart environment

The Garching Research Centre is situated to the north of Munich, between the Bavarian capital and Munich Airport.

The Science Congress Centre Munich is the centrepiece of the Galileo – Neue Mitte Garching complex, which is being built directly next to the Garching-Forschungszentrum underground station, right in the heart of the campus. The modern building offers event guests a hotel, a guesthouse, shopping facilities and dining options.

The centre of Garching is an underground station, with the Garching Business Campus two stops away. You can reach the Allianz Arena directly after just 3 stops in 8 minutes, and you can get to Munich’s Marienplatz in 25 minutes without changing trains.

Foyer areas and event rooms

In addition to the Audimax, there are 13 further event rooms that are ideal for group work or individual events. Spread across three floors, these rooms offer plenty of space to bring your ideas to life. With a total of 1,600 square metres of light-filled foyer areas, the Science Congress Centre Munich provides the ideal setting for trade fairs, exhibitions and events of all kinds.
