The Gotha Stadthalle is regarded as the birthplace of the German Shooting Federation (1861). It was built in 1824 as a shooting range and, with its historic architecture, is one of the oldest concert and event halls in Germany.
Thanks to its excellent acoustics, it has also been used for sound recordings in the past. Today, it hosts concerts, entertainment and shows, lectures and conferences, receptions and balls.
The venue, comprising a large hall, a small hall, a foyer and a bar, can accommodate up to 1,100 visitors, depending on the layout and seating arrangement. The adjoining catering area is available to guests during events.
The Stadthalle is a listed building and offers a traditional ambience for events of all kinds.
