The Hidden Lakehouse

A Bauhaus-style villa by the lake in Duisburg, near Düsseldorf: The Hidden Lakehouse combines modern architecture, authentic living spaces and private retreats for photo and film shoots, meetings and select, tranquil events.

440 m² of interior space plus 140 m² of terraces, 3 m ceiling height, six parking spaces on the property, a designer kitchen, living and dining areas, terraces, a garden and a heated 15-metre outdoor pool offer a wide range of possibilities for editorials, brand content, interviews and music videos. Camera, lighting and sound equipment must be provided by the production team; there is no soundproof studio.

For meetings: ten seats at the main table, a 98-inch TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, as well as an outdoor seating lounge and outdoor TV. We will agree on specific connections and any additional equipment required in advance. The number of seats at the table does not represent a flat-rate event capacity.

Prices for a total of 1–5 people, including crew and service providers, plus 19% VAT and standard final cleaning:

• Photo shoot/filming: 4 hours €1,000, 8 hours €1,800, 5 × 8 hours €8,100.

• Meeting: 4 hours €600, 8 hours €1,000, 5 × 8 hours €4,500.

• Event: 4 hours €1,800, 8 hours €2,800, 5 × 8 hours €12,600.

Hours can be chosen freely from 4–12 hours in half-hour increments; each additional hour costs €250 / €150 / €450 depending on the type of use. Example: 5.5 hours: €1,375 / €825 / €2,475.

Standard bookings can be made directly via our website. A 50 per cent deposit is required, with the balance due 14 days in advance; for last-minute bookings, 100 per cent is payable in full. A €1,500 security deposit will be reserved separately on your card shortly before use. Larger groups and special requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. For bookings made via third-party platforms, the agreed contractual terms and conditions apply.

Residential area: Quiet hours and consideration for neighbours must be observed. Pool, night-time and audio recordings, as well as music, are permitted only subject to prior agreement on the concept and timing. The pool is included as a photographic subject; swimming and wellness facilities are permitted only by separate arrangement. Overnight stays (up to ten guests, four bedrooms) are booked separately as accommodation.
