The Norfolk Studio

Welcome to Norfolk Studio – arguably one of the largest and certainly one of the most modern photography studios in the Rhine-Neckar region. In spring 2023, we set up shop on the open spaces of the former industrial harbour. Overlooking Friesenheimer Insel, a unique Mannheim neighbourhood has emerged along the historic Kaiser-Wilhelm-Becken. Haute couture designers, creatives from local agencies and athletes from various disciplines are all equally inspired by the site’s rugged charm.

Six large windows, spanning a length of 14 metres, allow plenty of sunlight to flood into the interior of the photography studio. It boasts more than 100 m² of pure photography space, with a ceiling height of over 4.5 metres. Whether for photo or film shoots, the lighting conditions here on the mezzanine floor are always ideal. Indeed, the new premises impress with their exceptionally high standard of comfort. This is ensured by a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a dining or conference area measuring around 20 m². Just a 10-minute drive from the city centre, this conveniently located venue has become the ideal spot for photo and film productions. A location where a selection of designer props and state-of-the-art lighting and flash equipment are available on site at all times.
