A former estate, lovingly reimagined. In the heart of the Allgäu, in Leutkirch-Herbrazhofen, tobel 1853 has emerged as a place where people come together, ideas flourish and special moments are created.
Whether it’s a corporate event, a strategy day, a workshop, a Christmas party, a birthday or a private celebration – tobel offers the perfect setting for events that will be remembered for years to come.
Spaces with character and endless possibilities
Our lovingly designed premises combine the charm of a historic farmstead with modern design. Whether it’s focused work in small groups, dining together or lively celebrations – every event can be tailored to your needs here.
The indoor area can accommodate up to 45 people. Our cosy beer garden offers space for around 60 guests and is a lovely place to spend time together in the open air, especially during the warmer months.
Enjoyment is part of the experience
Our in-house bistro provides the perfect culinary accompaniment. From a shared breakfast and refreshments during a workshop to a multi-course meal or a cosy barbecue evening, we’ll work with you to develop the right concept.
Get together and stay a while
If you’d like to extend your stay, our six individually designed apartments offer the option to stay right on site. Ideal for multi-day workshops, corporate retreats or celebrations where nobody has to head straight home.

Sustainability
What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?
For us, sustainability is not just a trend, but part of our philosophy: ‘The best from simplicity’.
Our historic estate, dating from 1853, has been carefully and ecologically renovated. In doing so, we have placed great emphasis on preserving the existing building fabric, using natural materials and fitting out the property with durable fixtures and fittings.
We also rely on forward-looking solutions when it comes to energy supply. We generate our own electricity using a photovoltaic system on our roof. In addition, our farm has an energy well, which forms part of our energy concept.
In our apartments, we prioritise high-quality and durable materials, such as PROLANA bedding and linen bed linen from MOMM.
In our bistro, too, we prioritise fresh, regional ingredients wherever possible and a mindful approach to food.
In this way, we combine the charm of a historic country estate with modern technology, a connection to the region and a responsible approach to resources.
