That may be because there isn’t a single other alpine hut in the whole of Maria Alm – no, in the whole of the Salzburg region – with a pug (Choupette is her lovely name) as its mascot. But it’s probably also down to the way we run our hut. As well as a spectacular mountain panorama, what you’ll find here above all is a good dose of flair: we combine modern architecture with rustic mountain hut charm, the sparkling wine for your sundowner is specially crafted, and the menu delivers exactly what you’d expect from an alpine hut. Anyone expecting a classic mountain ski hut will be in for a surprise here – but that’s exactly how we like it.
