The Hamburg Chamber of Crafts is situated on Holstenwall, directly opposite the Wallanlagen. Designed by the Hamburg architect Fritz Schumacher, it was built between 1912 and 1915 as a ‘Gewerbehaus’ (trade centre) for the self-governing body of the craft trades.
