What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?

For us, sustainability starts in our everyday lives. We place great importance on the mindful use of resources, regional produce and practical solutions that can be implemented in our business.
Regional and seasonal: Wherever possible, we source regional and seasonal produce. This includes, for example, Klima apple juice and Waterkant coffee from Hamburg. Through our selection, we aim to support local suppliers and avoid long transport routes.
Travelling sustainably: We do not own a car. We do our shopping on foot whenever possible. For larger purchases, we use delivery services or, where necessary, car-sharing. In this way, we try to reduce unnecessary journeys.
Reusing flowers: We frequently reuse floral decorations. Instead of disposing of arrangements straight after an event, we reuse them wherever possible. This conserves resources and prevents waste.
Using resources wisely: In our day-to-day operations, too, we take care to buy only what we need, avoid food waste and use existing materials for as long as possible. We regularly review our processes and look for ways to operate more sustainably.
For us, sustainability means taking responsibility in small ways and making conscious decisions. We aim to run the Trinkhalle in the Stadtpark with the environment and resources in mind, without losing sight of the joy of good food, hospitality and special events.
