Villa Castiglioncelli – An 18th-Century Estate in the Heart of Chianti
A timeless venue for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events in the Chianti hills, a short drive from Florence. The historic villa, dating back to 1737, is the heart of the working wine estate Tenuta San Jacopo, with panoramic views over vineyards, olive groves and the Tuscan countryside.
Indoor & Outdoor Spaces
Three panoramic gardens host events of up to 200 guests, each with its own character and backdrop. An elegant ground-floor hall welcomes up to 100 guests for receptions, ceremonies or formal dinners, while a dedicated room with video projector and sound system is ideal for conferences, presentations and meetings. The frescoed 18th-century noble floor offers an extraordinary setting for gala dinners, welcome aperitifs or unforgettable photography.
A Working Wine Estate: Experiences & Team Building
Guided tours of the villa, the historic cellars and the vineyards can be combined with private wine and olive oil tastings for a true Tuscan experience. Tastings, workshops and team-building activities amid the vines offer companies an original way to bring teams together — ideal for retreats, incentive travel and offsite meetings.
The Full Estate Experience
Just 300 meters from the villa, a charming farmhouse with 7 apartments and a swimming pool turns any event into a full weekend: welcome dinners, brunches the day after, pool parties or multi-day corporate retreats. A partner accommodation with a further 60 beds is available 2 minutes away.
A Dedicated Team at Your Side
An experienced in-house event coordinator assists you from selecting trusted local vendors to seamless coordination on the day. Authorised for civil ceremonies and collaborating with excellent catering partners, the estate offers tailor-made solutions for weddings, private parties and business events alike.
An authentic Tuscan estate where history, wine and hospitality turn every event into a lasting memory.
Sustainability at Tenuta San Jacopo
As a working wine estate, we treat sustainability as part of everyday practice, not an afterthought.
Renewable energy: a 50 kWp photovoltaic system covers almost all of the estate's energy needs.
Electric mobility: an EV charging station is available in the farmhouse car park for guests staying overnight.
Organic farming: the estate has been certified organic since 2003 — no chemical herbicides or pesticides in our vineyards and olive groves.
Single-use plastic free: no single-use plastics in the apartments and no plastic bottles; drinking water and estate products are served in glass.
Waste management: separate waste collection is in place throughout the property.

Rental times are flexible and can be agreed individually
