Weinhaus Motzenbäcker

The Motzenbäcker Wine House in Ruppertsberg has been welcoming guests to celebrate together for decades. Following extensive refurbishment and modernisation work, it now offers space for dazzling celebrations of all kinds.

Situated on the outskirts of the village with a view of the Palatinate vineyards, it offers a wonderful vista of the lush greenery of the surrounding countryside and the gently rising hills in the background. The garden, nestled within this beautiful setting, is the perfect spot for sun-drenched afternoons al fresco, followed by a celebration in the adjoining dance hall.

We invite you to enjoy events in a Palatinate atmosphere for up to 150 guests (180 with mixed seating).

This exceptional venue comprises the vineyard garden, ballroom, bar and foyer.

Vineyard Garden: Nestled amongst the vines, you can use the garden in a variety of ways – for a reception, a coffee reception, an outdoor wedding ceremony or, in summer, for al fresco dining.

’s former dance hall For many years now, the hall of the former dance venue has been used for lively celebrations. A dance on the parquet floor is therefore a must.

But the spacious areas with old wooden tables also invite you to linger. Large panoramic windows offer a magnificent view over the vineyards of Ruppertsberg and Deidesheim.

’s bar Where people once used to ‘get to know each other’, delicious long drinks and cocktails are now served. Adjacent to the dance floor, the cosy bar is the perfect spot for a chat.
We’re doing everything we can to ensure that this bar continues to be a place where lovely connections can be made in the future.

The foyer
Whether as a quiet spot for the kids, an additional event space or a location for a photo booth and the like, the foyer is available for your celebration.

In the event of heavy rain, outdoor wedding ceremonies or receptions can also be held here.
