What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?
To minimise the hotel’s environmental footprint, we rely on modern energy-generation technologies. With a total of four combined heat and power units, two photovoltaic systems and a solar thermal system, we generate a significant proportion of the electricity and hot water required for the hotel’s bathrooms. Furthermore, all the lighting at the Heusser Wellness Hotel is designed for energy efficiency and durability. That is why we use LED lights, which significantly reduce electricity consumption. We have been awarded the DEHOGA Environmental Check in Gold on several occasions in recognition of our commitment to sustainability at the hotel. Since 2020 , the Wellnesshotel Heusser has also been certified as a partner establishment of the ‘Sustainable Destination German Wine Route’ scheme.
