Westkreuz/Heilandskirche

Once the refurbishment is complete in 2022, the venue will host family celebrations, seminars, concerts, exhibitions, theatre performances and panel discussions, as well as serving as a meeting place for people of all generations and religions.
The former archive is set to become the centrepiece of the Westkreuz. Where benches once stood in tight rows until 1982, and where art treasures were stored in the years that followed, a multifunctional hall has now been created.
With the café and a communal kitchen, a further space is being opened up for visitors. The architecture creates a cosy atmosphere through niches, wall projections and ribbed vaults.
