Zoo Basel

Transport your guests to a unique natural setting right in the heart of the city. The Zolli’s extensive park is one of Basel’s most beautiful green spaces and arguably the most exciting. For over 140 years, young and old alike have been enjoying this oasis, which is synonymous with extraordinary encounters. In the green heart of the zoo, you’ll find a restaurant that impresses with its classic architecture and offers versatile function spaces. Wouldn’t this be the ideal venue for your private celebration? Or for a corporate event that will be remembered for years to come?

Plan an experience with us

We’d be delighted to combine and arrange our terraces and function rooms to suit your event. Tailored to your needs, we host romantic weddings, small family gatherings, christenings and anniversaries, as well as seminars, lectures and staff events. From an open-air aperitif to a banquet, our kitchen will work with you to create a harmonious menu featuring regional and seasonal delicacies.

Even closer to the zoo

Personalised guided tours of the zoo are a popular part of our programme of activities. On request, we can offer you a tour of our animal world, tailored thematically to your event. Nature has so much to show us – you and your guests will discover this during an unforgettable event.
