Carlowitz Congresscenter Chemnitz

The Carlowitz Congresscenter Chemnitz is the new home for contemporary conferences and congresses in the heart of Chemnitz city centre. Directly connected to the Stadthalle Chemnitz, it is a creative hotspot with an open ambience, flexible rooms & an excellent sustainability concept.

Premises

Sustainably built: The Congress Centre was built onto the listed Stadthalle. With sensitivity and understanding, the clients and architects combined the existing and new buildings and designed a functional, sustainable and special ensemble. The focus is on dialogue as the most important means of exchanging knowledge and gaining insight. The Carlowitz Hall is a true quick-change artist when it comes to seating. Whether parliamentary seating, banquet seating for festive events or comfortably upholstered row seating for concert evenings and lectures. One special option is arena seating, where the rows of seats are arranged in blocks around a hexagonal, rotating 360° stage podium.

Service

An innovative event needs flexible, digital service. We are at your side as consultants for the realisation of your event. Be it trying out innovative event formats or an exclusive app for paperless management of your event. Your guests will find bicycle boxes and electric charging stations directly in front of the Congress Centre. All food and drinks are prepared sustainably.

Sustainability concept

The Carlowitz Congress Centre not only bears the name of a famous pioneer of sustainability - Hans Carl von Carlowitz. The guiding principle of sustainable event organisation is put into practice in as many facets as possible at the Carlowitz. It goes without saying that our electricity is green and that we are supplied with ecological and regional heating and cooling. But we think even further: for us, sustainability also includes fair treatment of employees, service providers and our commitment to the city and its citizens.
