In 2000, the EXPOWAL was the landmark of the World Expo in Hanover. With its light-filled, fully glazed spaces, the building continues to impress even almost two decades later.
Spanning over 1,800 square metres, the venue features two levels and an open gallery – perfect for truly special event moments!
In the reception area, you and your guests will be greeted by a stunning view of the neighbouring lake. There is also a modern LED bar here, which can be illuminated in a wide variety of colours on request and features a personalised message for you and your guests.
Thanks to reinforced flooring in various areas, the main event hall offers the flexibility to configure the event space in a variety of ways – from a stage to a seated layout.
With an area of 350 m² and space for up to 190 people, the in-house auditorium is ideal for film screenings, readings or presentations. In combination with the covered amphitheatre, space can be created for a further 350 guests. The meeting room, the production office or one of three other rooms can also be used as a backstage area or a private space for individual artists.

A particular highlight in fine weather is the terrace with its unique lake view, which provides the ideal setting for barbecues or receptions.
