Glashaus Decher
The Glashaus combines the charm of a nostalgic industrial building with the stylish ambience of an Ibiza club. Situated in the industrial estate of Karben near Frankfurt am Main, it enjoys excellent transport links. A large lawn borders the 1960s-era building, which is accessed via a rather unassuming courtyard entrance to the nursery and an avenue lined with laurel bushes and jasmine arches.
For corporate events, we offer the option of setting up a stage or a marquee. A paved access road is also available.
Our venue in detail:
Capacity: 199 standing guests
Seating: For up to 150 guests – choose between round banquet tables or our recycled mango wood tables.
Atmosphere: With well-tended plants, tall trees and palm trees, we create a unique, feel-good atmosphere. For smaller groups, we offer cosy plant corners, photo booths, children’s play areas and quiet spots – perhaps for writing a poem in the guest book.
Lounge & Bar: An enchanting bar, a dance floor and a DJ booth provide the perfect setting for celebrations lasting into the early hours.
Customised design: Whether casual-chic, vintage or stylish – you decide on the design of your event. As event professionals, we offer both a full service – including catering and a band – as well as support for your own ideas.
An experienced event technician ensures that your technical requirements are met to the highest standard and that presentations are staged to perfection.
Availability:
Corporate events: Tuesday to Thursday
Saturdays: You can also celebrate with us on Saturdays, but we ask that you book well in advance, as our Glass House is often booked up by bridal couples long in advance.

Sustainability
What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?
Our core business is plant hire – a service that is, by its very nature, particularly sustainable. For our catering services at the event venue, we use only porcelain, glass and stainless steel cutlery for table settings.
When it comes to floral decorations, we avoid plastic pots entirely. Instead, we deliberately opt for glass containers and vases.
We also place great importance on careful waste separation.
To save energy, we have switched the lighting in our glasshouse to LED technology.

FAQ
Yes, parking is available. There are around 10 parking spaces on our premises for VIPs and guests with reduced mobility. The road ‘Am Spitzacker’ offers up to 50 parking spaces on the hard shoulder.
The former K248 is suitable for additional parking spaces. To use these, it is advisable to obtain a special permit from the town of Karben.
