Enjoy an unforgettable day in one of the most beautiful event locations by the water! Insel Nonnenau is located in the centre of the Rhine-Main region, between Frankfurt, Mainz and Wiesbaden. We open our doors for exclusive events from May to the end of October.
A day on the island begins with a short ferry crossing over the Old Rhine and after a 250 metre walk your guests will reach the summer location.
With an unobstructed view towards the sunset and located directly on the water, guests on the Rhine terrace can enjoy an unrivalled panorama.
Our location offers a variety of options for a wide range of events in different areas. From company summer parties, business festivals and conferences to weddings in the countryside - we can customise any event.

Inselglück GmbH should be a sustainable agency in the future. For us, sustainability means being aware of the damage caused by our work, gradually reducing it as far as possible and ultimately neutralising the negative effects completely.

Ideal utilisation of daylight
Energy-efficient conference and event technology
Use of energy-saving lighting technology
No use of air conditioning technology
2. SUSTAINABLE CATERING
Focus on regional & seasonal food
Offer vegan and vegetarian options as alternatives
Use as many Fairtrade products as possible
Set up a philosophy board explaining why overproduction should be avoided and why unlimited quantities of each dish should not always be offered.
Avoid the use of disposable crockery
3. WASTE AVOIDANCE AND REDUCTION
Training the event team to avoid waste
Even when selecting your own suppliers and service providers, major waste savings can be achieved in terms of packaging and products.
4. SUSTAINABILITY COMMUNICATION IN COOPERATION WITH OUR CUSTOMERS
We encourage our customers to avoid disposable items, printed products and the associated waste wherever possible.
We offer our customers the option of offsetting the CO2 footprint of the respective events via various CO2 compensation projects such as "The Generation Forest eG" (tree planting project). The calculation is carried out using the "Federal Environment Agency CO2 calculator for events".
