The Landgut Stober infects with its magic and spirit. This is where the Kreisau Circle, the largest resistance movement against National Socialism, met under Dr. Ernst von Borsig Junior. His great-grandfather August was the driving force behind German mobility and founded the world's first company-owned social system - his grandfather Albert, as Europe's largest railway and locomotive manufacturer, developed the estate in its
present form.
In 2000, the Berlin entrepreneur Michael Stober, a former art photographer and for years active in the renovation of old buildings, acquired the estate and saved it from decay.
