The marinaforum Regensburg conference and congress centre is an industrial monument dating back to 1888 and is located in the new Marina Quarter in the east of the city, within walking distance of the old town. A special atmosphere is created by the elaborately restored "Zollinger Ceiling" from 1927, a ceiling construction developed by the architect Friedrich Zollinger (1880945).
