The MESSE CAMPUS MAINHAUSEN is particularly distinguished by its convenient location at the A3/A45 motorway junction. This means the venue is accessible from all directions. In addition, the event site offers over 600 free parking spaces, providing ample space to welcome guests.

The catering ranges from small snacks to substantial main courses. Fish, meat, vegetarian or vegan – the MESSE CAMPUS MAINHAUSEN leaves nothing to be desired, whether it’s food or drinks.
...sustainable:
Regional and seasonal produce in the catering, on-site electricity generation via solar panels on the roofs, and a network of regional service providers. MESSE CAMPUS MAINHAUSEN goes to great lengths to operate sustainably and strives to keep its environmental footprint to a minimum. Events are fun, but only if they do not harm the environment.

Sustainability
What steps does the venue take to improve sustainability?
Unfortunately, the events industry is not a pioneer when it comes to sustainability. Here at MESSE CAMPUS MAINHAUSEN, we are certain that if we want to continue organising and hosting events in the future without causing long-term harm to the environment and future generations, something has to change. But where do we start?
Our first major step towards sustainable events is certification to ISO 20121, which we are aiming to achieve by 2024. The standard is industry-specific and addresses all three pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental and social. This will enable us to ensure that MESSE CAMPUS MAINHAUSEN not only pays attention to environmental aspects, but also practises comprehensive sustainable event management. Since October 2023, we have also had a colleague on the team for the first time who, as our Sustainable Event Management Officer, is working intensively on this wide-ranging topic.
Some of the other measures we had already implemented before deciding to pursue certification include the following:
Since 2010, around 900 solar panels on some of the exhibition halls’ roofs have ensured that approximately 200,000 kilowatt-hours per year are fed into the public electricity grid
In addition, two electric vehicle charging points are available at the MESSE CAMPUS MAINHAUSEN
We ensure that access is barrier-free
We endeavour to work with regional service providers wherever possible and to continually expand our network in the area surrounding our site
Not only should our service providers be from the region, but so too should the catering. We ensure that the food served at our events is as regional and seasonal as possible.
