The Schönbrunner Stöckl at Meidlinger Tor – family-owned for 45 years – looks back with pride on a tradition stretching back over 100 years and is now regarded as one of the city’s finest restaurants, not least thanks to its unique dinner theatre.
The artist-hosts Tamara Trojani, soprano and chansonette , and Konstantin Schenk, conductor and entertainer, will welcome you with warmth and culinary delights at fair prices.
The menu features: Viennese classics, Bohemian specialities, seasonal dishes, vegetarian and vegan options, and homemade pastries.
As a cult Viennese restaurant, the Schönbrunner Stöckl captivates with its unique premises, which also offer space for larger parties.
A shaded outdoor dining area with live music (on many days) also invites you to linger and relax!
At the dinner theatre, the artist-hosts will whisk you away to a carefree world with global hits, timeless pop classics, their own songs, and plenty of humour and heart. The extraordinary ambience is an attraction in its own right! The shows are accompanied by a delicious four-course gourmet menu from the Schönbrunner Stöckl’s kitchen.
An absolute insider’s tip for visitors to Vienna, and long since a cult institution for Viennese locals! The dinner theatre is situated at the east entrance to Schönbrunn Palace Park, at Meidlinger Tor! For international guests and special celebrations (birthdays, weddings, corporate events, etc.), we are happy to offer a bespoke programme on request.
