The history of the inn dates back to the 12th century. Built in 1180 as a mountain farm, the Pfarrwirt is considered one of the most valuable buildings in Vienna in terms of architectural history. Even today, traces from the 14th century can be seen in the excellently preserved stone portals and stone windows.
