People from all walks of life come together on board the Badeschiff: Guests, employees, friends and strangers, with and without disabilities, people from different countries, with different religions, sexual orientations or favourite foods, newcomers and locals - everyone shares the same joy of the new, the same openness towards others. We offer "inclusive holiday feelings" - 365 days a year.

Our "Special Gastronomics" project shows what it means to live inclusion not as an exception, but as part of everyday life. People with and without disabilities work together, sharing responsibility, passion and enjoyment of their work. This equality creates an environment in which every person is recognised and valued for what makes them special.

This everyday inclusion makes the Badeschiff a social microcosm in which rigid boundaries between "us" and "the others" are abolished. Diversity characterises the atmosphere, both linguistically and culturally. New forms of togetherness are created here, where differences do not divide, but connect.

The bathing ship is firmly anchored in the Danube Canal and at the same time rocks on the waves, always on the move. A space between work and leisure, individuality and community, between the world as it is and the world as it could be. Boundaries are not drawn here, but constantly renegotiated. This is why the Badeschiff is much more than just a catering venue - it is a living space that can not only be experienced physically, but is also created symbolically and socially.
